Frequently asked questions

What environmental events can we record?

Spills, discharges, emissions, leaks, waste events and permit breaches, along with the near misses that could have become any of those. As with every other category, the types and fields are configured to your permits and your terminology.

Does this produce our ESG report?

No. Your disclosure is yours to make, under whichever standard applies to you. What Logincident provides is the evidence underneath it: events recorded at the time, with a trail showing who did what. Disclosure that cannot be traced back to a record is the thing auditors question.

Why record environmental near misses at all, if nothing happened?

Because they are the cheapest information you will ever get. A bund that nearly overflowed costs nothing to record and tells you the same thing a spill would have, without the clean-up, the notification or the fine.
